Construction Update - June 2022

1 – Works will be continuing forming parcel entrances along Mindenhurst Road. This will include tarmac works and will involve tracking machinery up and down the road. Vehicles will travel slower than the 20mph speed limit and will be marshalled at all times.

2 – Lighting bollards will be installed on the Green Swathe footpath.

3 – Utilities will be installed to the Parcel X trench and gradually backfilled. Following these works, the fencing will be removed and access reinstated to the path.

4 The Officers’ Mess located on Newfoundland Road has now been taken over by Aquinna who will manage the construction works on this site going forward.

5 – Demolition of the accommodation buildings will continue within the fence line of the Princess Royal Barracks. Crushing activities will be ongoing and noise will be monitored and managed accordingly.

6 – External works and bat mitigation measures will be continuing to St. Barbara’s Church throughout June. Parking will remain limited while these works are ongoing.

Tree felling and tree protection works will commence across the development. This will protect trees across the site during construction works.
