Remember to keep hedgehogs safe on bonfire night
Don’t build your bonfire on a pile of leaves
Build your bonfire when you plan to light it, not the night before
Lift up parts of the bonfire with a stick and use a torch to look for animals before you light it
Listen carefully for the hissing sound that hedgehogs make when disturbed
