Deepcut Bridge Road Trenching

The following trenching works will be taking place along Deepcut Bridge Road. The details of these works are as follows:

  • Trenching to install HV cables between Deepcut Bridge Road and Woodend Road.
  • There will be traffic lights in place but also a manual traffic marshal to direct traffic
  • Works will be conducted under a TTRO, approved by the council, which has set out strict protocols for conducting these works.
  • There will be no more than 100m of trenching that are open at any one time

The works will take 5 weeks to complete and the working hours will be 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday. During this period there will restricted access along the stretch of road and traffic management will be in place with temporary traffic lights and a traffic marshal controlling the traffic. Also, the two bus stops along Deepcut Bridge Road will be suspended and there will be  a width restriction in place for 4 weeks at the railway bridge, however the road closure will only take place on Saturday 24th July for approximately half a day.
