Upcoming Resurfacing Works on Deepcut Bridge Road

We will shortly carry out resurfacing works on Deepcut Bridge Road between the Brunswick Road junction and the mini roundabout onto Lake Road. This work will complete the road surfacing improvements we conducted last year.

To facilitate these works, this part of the road will be fully closed over three nights, with the following diversion in place: Diversion Route

The works are scheduled to take place on the 28th, 29th, and 30th of April from 7pm to 7am.

We understand that this may cause some disruption and inconvenience however we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our community’s infrastructure.

Deepcut Bridge Road Trenching

The following trenching works will be taking place along Deepcut Bridge Road. The details of these works are as follows:

  • Trenching to install HV cables between Deepcut Bridge Road and Woodend Road.
  • There will be traffic lights in place but also a manual traffic marshal to direct traffic
  • Works will be conducted under a TTRO, approved by the council, which has set out strict protocols for conducting these works.
  • There will be no more than 100m of trenching that are open at any one time

The works will take 5 weeks to complete and the working hours will be 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday. During this period there will restricted access along the stretch of road and traffic management will be in place with temporary traffic lights and a traffic marshal controlling the traffic. Also, the two bus stops along Deepcut Bridge Road will be suspended and there will be  a width restriction in place for 4 weeks at the railway bridge, however the road closure will only take place on Saturday 24th July for approximately half a day.

We apologise for any delays this work causes and thank you for your cooperation and patience. If you have any questions, please get in touch by emailing hello@mindenhurst.co.uk.
