Green Spaces Transferred to The Land Trust
We’re pleased to share that the Central SANG, Southern SANG, Village Green and Green Swathe have been transferred to The Land Trust. This change ensures these beautiful spaces will continue to be maintained and enjoyed by the community for generations to come.
The Land Trust is a national charity and the UK’s leading green space management organisation. Their mission is to create and maintain sustainable, high-quality green spaces that improve quality of life and enhance the environment. They currently manage over 2,500 hectares across more than 80 sites in England, delivering environmental, social and economic benefits for local communities.
For residents, this means these areas will remain open and accessible to everyone, and The Land Trust will take responsibility for ongoing maintenance, ensuring the spaces are safe, welcoming and well looked after. Their approach promotes health and wellbeing, education and biodiversity, creating spaces that bring people together and support local wildlife.
We’re confident this partnership will protect and enhance these green spaces, making them a lasting asset for our community. For more information about The Land Trust and their work, visit thelandtrust.org.uk.
